It's okay for multiplayer parties

User Rating: 5 | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows PC

This isn't the game the true fans have been waiting for, it's poorly optimized, plagued by glitches, has unstable multiplayer, the A.I, friend and foe is amazingly stupid, and it's too easy to complete due to the incompetent enemies and length, Finally, it has some of the worst voice acting in the franchise. Still, the Turtles look decent... when they go blindeye, and it could be worse...

There are solid elements, the Turtles are for the most part, in character, and the arcade mode is good, much better than the actual main game is. If you can get the co-op working with people you can communicate with, it can be good as well. The combat freeflows quite well at times, and when the camera is cooperating, it really does feel like a good solid game.

Because of this, I can only recommend to other diehard fans willing to ignore the shortcomings, or multiplayer parties of 4, while discounted. They will find a game that is... ok, depending on what you come in expecting. If you expect terrible, you will probably be surprised at how ok it is. If you expect good, prepare for disappointment.

For those who buy it on the platform I'm reviewing this for, play it windowed at a lower resolution, so that then the lack of Anti-Aliasing won't get on your nerves. This game really needs it, especially on a 1920x1080 monitor, or force it through an external program.
