This Could've been a lot better,But its still great.
Tales of the Abyss is an JRPG exciting game from the ''Tales Of''series.The game captures the original feeling of an RPG game with lots of crazy yet fun to play and some times plain boring side quests,excellent story and you can even dress your main character up in different exciting costumes and you can also change your main playable character with any other character in your team,making you take fully control of him while in a dungeon or in a town, this feature is rather unique in its own way.The story is also great,we take control of a 17 year old son of the Duke,rich-spoiled kid who can't seem to remember any thing before he was kidnapped by the opposing country seven years ago.The graphics are also good but could've been better.The towns are well designed and well detailed,the dungeons are also great,dark and spooky while some are grassy and bright.the character design is also great,but can be altered by the player.The game is almost fully dubbed,which means that you don't have to worry about reading those bother some sentences throughout the game.
The bads about this game is the world map movement,the frame rate is really crappy when your moving in the world map and also its not well detailed as well the size of our main character is as huge as the size of the whole town when your standing next to it in the world map.The second thing which isn't great is something which was meant to be a good features of the game but the way its represented is really not so good and its the Awesome Anime cut scene which are really great but are very limited only appear few things in the whole game....
The battle system isn't bad but not that good either in the begining its really easy,but at some point in the game it gets really hard and when you've played half of the game the battled will be all mindless button smashing except of some boss battles.Another good feature of the game is that once you've finished the game there'll be a realyy lot of unlockables which will make you wan to play the game all over again.
So Tales Of Abyss Get 9.0 Out Of 10.
