First things first..

This is not a game you will be good at right away.

( a little backgroud of the company)

This is made by the same company who came up with ONSLAUGHT in UT2K4. And if you've ever played that mode, addiction, is the short answer. The company Psyonix definitely takes a simple idea, and turns you into an addict.
Too many games in today's market, hold your hand and have you feel like a vet in no time. SARPBC, is a breath of fresh air, tries something different, and come up BIG, in a big way.

If you are starting out, I encourage you to play the mini games and tournament offline first! Not only are they fun to play, and get good at..(EX. Time Warp.. the time slllooowws down when you get near the ball) but there's TROPHY SUPPORT as you acquire stars. This will definately help you get the feel of the game.

Secondly, call up some buddies. Don't get really good without telling anyone about it! The most fun you will have is with a group of people around. You will stumble, flip, and score til your eyes bleed. I promise.

Go to Youtube and watch some of the user created content! You cannot grasp the feel once you score your first aeriel goal, or huge save. Preview what you could be doing in a short while.

If you're highly competitive, form a team, and play team matches, see how you stack up to the vets. I know numerous people who bought the game, played for a couple months, and have become instantly remembered by PSN ID based on skill.

If you just want to mess around and crash into people, or flip off of walls, join in unranked 4V4 matches with me!

Also of note, the SARPBC website is great. The members are always running polls, and competitions for just about anything you could imagine. Got ideas for new content, or would you like to see something in an upcoming patch? The developers actually respond, and talk directly with you. What ideas can you bring to the table?

Seriously, this is one of the most underrated games out there. I've honestly probably stuck just as much time into this game as my whole collection of PS3 games. I would buy it as xmas presents if everyone had a PS3.. but not everyone does... however you do, and you're curious. Take my word for it, you won't be let down. Oh and this is exclusive to the PS3. :)
