Our favorite dinosaur in one of the best adventure games!

User Rating: 10 | Super Mario: Yoshi Island SNES
I still fondly remember the very same year this game was released, my grandpa had bought it for me(God rest his soul!) Once it was in my hands, I immediately popped
it into my Super Nintendo. I was already hooked by the first level, and the rest only made my love for the game
stronger.
The game was simple, yet strategic; the controls were
also very easy to master. Although it didn't have much of a story as Yoshi's Island DS(cutscenes and all), it
was much more addicting.
Pulling items out of your inventory(something that was scrapped from Yoshi's Island DS)was a big lifesaver,
depending on what conditions you wanted to meet--if you
needed extra star points, just use a +10- or +20 star to
raise your points; if you needed spare eggs, pull out
some eggs. Their were other miscellaneous items to use,
such as a POW Block, a "?" cloud, and three types of
watermelons.
One of my favorite features was the vehicle transforma-
tion. You could become a train, mole tank, helicopter,
submarine, and car. The car is my favorite. I wish I had
a car that could stretch upward!
The only two things I don't like about this game would be the scrolling levels, and that ridiculously hard level, "Kamek's Revenge".
I'm glad I received this game! This will be on top of the list of "best games" for all time.
