Good but doesn't meet the standards of the typical Mario game
The story is that while Mario, Princess and Toad are flying to an island for a vacation. While watching a video for the attractions of the island Peach spots a liquid looking Mario. When they arrived, Mario is framed and put into jail for vandalizing the island and as a part of punishment he has to clean the island and restore their shine sprites. He is equipped with a large water gun called FLUDD that helps defeat enemies and spray walls etc. Along the way of course Peach gets kidnapped and it's up to Mario to save her from the liquid looking Mario. The game plays very well. All controls are responsive and it is also very easy to pick up, understand and have fun with, almost too easy. The level of difficulty is what made the older Mario games so great.The concept was good and you acquire upgrades along the way but the game is way too short. It can be beaten within an afternoon and something is . Overall Super Mario Sunshine is a good game but just isn't up to the same standards of the other Mario games.
