The start of the best kart series and racing game ever Super Mario Kart is simply stunning .
The game featured 8 playable characters Mario,Luigi, Yoshi,Toad, Peach, Bowser ,DK and Koopa Troopa. It had 16 tracks like Rainbow Road, Mario Curcuit , Koopa Beach and Bowsers Castle to name a few. This was a very addictive game and the idea of putting Nintendos mascot and number one games character in a racing game was genius. Power Ups like Red and Green Shell, Feather,Invincible Star, Lightening and Mushroom were classic power ups from Mario Games.
Other games characters have had racing games like Sonic and Crash but are nothing compared to Mario Kart and four other kart games later Mario Kart is still doing the business. The origanal is still rated the best after all these years of four other Mario Karts but all are a joy to play.
This is a veryu fun game but doesn't have the graphics and lastabilty of Mario Kart DS. Still great though.
