Super Mario Bros. 3 was a fun game, and this game is a good way to play it portable with the original Mario Bros. game.

Super Mario Bros. 3 is a challenging game, and sometimes in the game,I got pretty damn pissed off!For example,in world 5,you need to go to the clouds to find the boss and the kingdom for some reason. The problem is,if you die 3 times, then the ship goes down to the land again, and you have to go down the tube to get to it.Now,this isn't much of a problem, but when you have to go back up,you have to go through the castle leading up,just to get there. That means you can die trying to get back up,and you have to avoid enemies like Whomps and Dry Bones. That's pretty annoying, and whoever came up with that idea really should be shot.Luckily, there aren't many other problems with the game. One thing that I hate though is the memory game. Now,this shouldn't even be called a memory game, because it never shows you the cards right side up.So,you have to take a random guess with only 2 tries and about a million cards to turn over. That's just not right.I do enjoy the added powerups, like the ability to throw hammers, instead of the other way around.Another cool thing is how Mario can turn into what looks like a squirrel(let's hope that he doesn't have rabies)that can kill enemies with his tail. The game can be challenging at some times, but it's pretty easy for the most part.I really hate how sometimes when you beat a level, but turn off your gameboy after saving, that sometimes you have to recomplete them. The game is a lot of fun, with of course the original Mario Bros. game.I recommend it highly to fans of Mario.
