This new version of SMB3 is the best remake so far, making it by far easier and entertaining for all Mario fans alike!

User Rating: 9 | Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 (2 Bonus e-Reader Cards) GBA
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 for the Game Boy Advance is a great side-scrolling platform game with many obstacles; some even from the original Super Mario Brothers. The graphics have stayed the same as from Super Mario All-Stars. The only two things that separate the remake from the original are its game-play and music.

If you've play both the original and the GBA remake all the time, you might have already noticed that in the GBA, they have added a couple of blocks throughout the game to keep the player from falling off the platforms so easily. There are also more coins and power-ups added in the game to keep you from easily getting killed in a level. Don't believe me? Watch the G.S. review. For example, in World 1-2 you start by going up the hill. Past that there is a short pipe going sideways. (That's where unlimited Goombas pop out.) Once you pass the small pipe and go down the steep hill, above some small light-green bushes in the background, there are two blocks. (The 1st being the power-up, the 2nd being a coin block.) In the original version (NES + SNES) there is only one block above the bushes. (That one being a power-up!)

The music is a lot better from its All-Stars counterpart. It's remixed to fit the Game Boy's superior and modern standards. The theme sounds better, is not that annoying, (to me) and fits today's standards! The Game Boy Advance has high capabilities and this game fits the deal! If you're dying to get this game, go ahead. If you're not that much of a Mario & Luigi fan (If you're out of you're freaking mind!) , than let someone else get it. It's only fair to them and to you!

My Score: 9.0--Superb!
