If you prefer skill over button mashing, then this is the DBZ game for you!

User Rating: 8.3 | Super Dragon Ball Z PS2
Presentation: 7.0
The presentation was cool, but not the best. The intro movie and the intro music were kinda boring. The menus though and everything else is great. Meets the Manga's style.

Sound: 9.2
Luckily for me, I got the English version, which means that I have japanese voice-overs, instead of American ones. The sounds and the music are really good. I even learned a bit of Japanese.

Graphics: 8.0
The overall graphics are nice, they also meet the Manga's style. Allthough the shading in some places could be better.

Gameplay: 8.0
The most important thing about Super Dragonball Z is the gameplay, since it lacks in stages and characters. But that isn't too bad at all, since the gameplay is really good. Now we can say that we mastered a character, since every character has his/her own moves and combos.

Value: 9.0
There are a lot of characters to unlock. You can level up all of the characters. The 2 player mode is fun and keeps you going. There are also a lot of equipment to unlock like a lightsaber (for Trunks).

Overall: 8.5
I had a lot of fun playing the game. The combos were great and kept the game going, not like a Budokai game where you could only mash at buttons. I even had to train 2 hours before I totally got into it. It was and still is a fun experience.

I recommend this game to every fighting game fan, who wants a slight touch of DBZ in the game.
