The play mechanic is so simple that even a Super Nes DB Z could be more deep and entertain to play, there are only just 5 or less combos to perform and just one special attack like the Kame-hame-ha, this is totally absurd in a game that basically should be about super power attacks, and speed.
The graphics are nice, especially the characters models but this contrast with the poor battle scenarios that the only good is the addition of objects that fighters can break up.
Also I have to mention the few characters to choose, comparing with the last games. I recommend you that pick up the Dragon Ball Budokai 3, which personally is the better of the Atari´s Dragon Ball Z series.
This title is so or more frustrating than the Tenkaichi or the infamous Dragon Ball Z Sagas, and is a shame that maybe it is the last for the Playstation 2 and deserved a major recognition.
