I'm sure this is the best racing game you'll find for GBA!

SRS for GameBoy Advance is a very solid outing. The gameplay is very good, the graphics are good enough, and it's not something you'll finish in a weekend, it actually has some depth to it. It has two modes, Arcade Mode & Street Mode. Arcade Mode is where you just go to do some quick, decision free racing. It has four options, including Quick Race (you pick the track, the car and the computer picks your opponents), Checkpoint (win the race by getting to the checkpoints set up throughout the race in the allotted time), Ironman (compete through a series of progressively harder races where your car damage accumulates and makes it harder for you to win) & Speed Trial (see if you can set time records on the track of your choosing). Street Mode is the more in depth mode of the game. You start off by subbing in for Eddie, a guy who can't race for various reasons. When you win the race for Eddie you are given a cut of the profits. From there you go to your 3 City Locations. The Car Showroom is where you go to purchase the ride you wish to tweak out and race with. The Warehouse is where you go to view the cars that you own. And the Garage is where you go to upgrade your various cars as well as repair them after races. From here you go to the race screen. You have three options here as well. The main racing component is the Crew Meet option. You have 2 sanctioned Crew Meets you can enter that don't have a monetary or respect point prerequisite to enter. This is where you start off. When you win these races (if you win at least two of the three) you win the pot for that series of races. You can also make side bets before each race with individual racers to increase your winnings. The cash you win in these Crew Meets is what you use to keep buying new and better cars. You also earn respect points for winning each race, as well as for performing stunts (drifts, catching air, going up on two wheels, etc.) during said races. Respect points are vital to your Crew Meet career as once you get in to playing the unsanctioned Crew Meets there is a respect point prerequisite in place in order to enter them. The other race modes include Street Challenge. There are 10 of these challenges available, they are all just point to point races against a single other driver, with a wager on the line! This is the quickest way to earn money, as long as you try and race the guy making the biggest bet each time. The final race mode is the Respect Challenge. This is where 18 girls will each offer you a chance to complete a race (or series of stunts within a race) in order to earn the right to make them your girlfriend. If you beat the challenge and make them your girlfriend, you can view said girls in your Warehouse along with your vehicles. During the game you will also unlock more pictures of each of your girlfriends. So, as you can see, there was quite a bit of detail put in to SRS. The only thing that would have made it even better was if they had made the vehicles in the game official (like Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Mazda, etc., instead of just knockoffs with made up names) and if they had implemented a replay mode. Other than that, this game is the perfect racing game for GBA! If you've been looking for one, this is it.
