Gameplay:
let's just say a true warrior comes to battle with all his powers at the ready. It is FLAWLESS. This is the most precice 2d fighter ever made. To a novice all 2d fighters maybe feel the same, but a vet can tell...and you are not going to find a "more" balanced or responcive fighting machanics system anywhere.
It is the gameplay alone that makes SFA2 the best fighter around. My experience with fighters rival the makes of the games themselves. I have forgotton more fighting games than most people who consider themselves fighting gamers have played, and I can tell you that his game is the most accurate 2d fighter ever made.
Graphics:
the graphics are tried and true with a crisp look and feel to them. No bland colors here they are vibrant and explosive. This is a pixel perfect arcade conversion. This is the most advenced 2d fighter of it's time and to get the same quality that was produced on the Sega Saturn you would have to buy a $3000 arcade. I think that speaks for itself.
Sound:
The music score is endering. It has a wonderful atmospheere of fire and youth that makes you feel like a kid everytime you play it. Evey pop and bang is crisp. There's not much to say than every stage is perfectly matched with it's music score and all sound effects are on point. Very good.
Value:
To be blunt a collector of fighting games should be willing to pay over a hundred dollars for this exellent conversion. It is well balanced. It has a hefty roster of characters, vastly contrasting stages (as all streetfighter games) and provides endless hours of fun for anyone who enjoys fighting games.
And to think when I first bought this game in 96-97 I paid about $60 for this game. And now you can easily buy it on ebay for about $12. Wow...I almost felt like a theif when I recently purchased this game over the net. this game would be worth it at almost any price, but at such a low cost it's value is priceless.
Tilt:
It still beat's the best fighter of today at quality is concerned, and I feel It is the most perfectly converted fighter of all time. The number of hours out of my life that this game has consumed are countless. Even tho this is not my favorite fighter of all it is the best.
