Feels like RTS to the next level. New innovative missions. Incredible graphics. New take on developing story for

I'll make it short and sweet. Blizzard has done a incredible job on this game. At first, I thought as many, "same old Starcraft, new paint job, blah. blah...". But as I got deeper into the story, and saw how they made new types of missions into the story, and it feels as if your not on a linear path.

THIS IS ONE of the coolest and original ideas I have seen in a RTS. If you have played Mass Effect 1 or 2, you'll know what Im saying. In the campaign, you (as played by Jim Raynor), are aboard your ship. There are 4 different areas to go to. A lab, a bridge, a bar and a armory. It is here that Blizzard has taken RTS to the next level. If you visit the bar (called a cantina in the game) there is a mercenary who will offer you elites to go on missions with you for a price. In your lab you can create research new units and buildings for the missions. The armory is where you can upgrade your troops and buildings. All the while telling the story through beautiful cut scenes. I have played ALL the RTS's from DUNE 2 (from 1992) all the way to this one. Starcraft 2 is all its cracked up to be.

The graphics are just way over the top. Literally. The maps just show SO much detail, its just to much to take in. Im running at 1920x1080 everything on ultra, and it is ALOT of eye candy. Besides Command and Conquer 3 and Company of Heroes, this is the best looking RTS I have ever seen.

The missions within the story are just different enough to make mention of. By doing the side missions within a mission, will grant you credits to purchase the various things I described at your ship. It is here where I found myself having the most fun to get the max credits to purchase new stuff for the upcoming battles.

There is so much more to say, theres solo challenge modes, the skirmish against A.I., battle net to duke it out online. Blizzard has truly done it again. This is a must buy game, even at the $60 price tag. They have given us MORE than enough content to justify the price tag. BOTTOM LINE: All the hype that surrounded this game...it 110% deserves it, and it clearly shows.
