Campaign Review: Worth the namesake.
From the cinematics (which are plentiful), to the characters and story development to the campaign mechanics, this 29-mission campaign was worth every penny.
My only criticism would be the level of difficulty involved. As a seasoned starcraft player I might have no room to gripe but it still felt too easy. I finished the campaign precisely 12 hours after I purchased the game. Mind, this was an insane all day game affair.
The additional campaign elements/achievements/research paths make this all very much re-playable content.
It is sad to see that some of the old starcraft units were moved to campaign only, but it is nice to see they were added to the game and may possibly see multiplayer down the road.
Overall, I am very pleased with this franchise update. Having played some other RTS recently, I can validate that SC2 is a notch above.
