A great old classic

ESB for NES was one of my all time favorites on that great 8-Bit system. The play was challenging, but doable. It was one of those games you could either Game Genie or not and still find it challenging, and take a few hours out of your day to beat it. Controls were easy, interaction with the Star Wars galaxy was there much more so than in the first game released for the system. Having a rapid fire controller was a major plus, but wasn't absolutely essential. Graphics and sound were above average for the 8-Bit system days and contributed to the feel of the game without overpowering the sound effects or player's concentration. The game was largely overlooked unless you were a Star Wars fan, so if you never had a chance to partake, it's worth a trip down memory lane if you're like me and enjoy going back a few generations in platforms every once in a while. All in all, a great classic worth warming up the emulator for. I hope Nintendo decides to include it in a virtual console format for Wii eventually.
