A Decent Follow-up to Jedi Outcast

User Rating: 7 | Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy XBOX
The Good: Character Customization, Some Interesting Missions, Decent Story, Decent AI.

The Bad: Bad Multiplayer, Graphics and Engine haven't been updated since outcast, Character Customization is limited, Some Uninteresting missions, Level Design could be better.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is the followup to the superb Jedi Outcast. However, you don't get to play as Kyle Katarn, but rather his student at the Jedi Academy, Jaden Korr. In this game, you'll be once again going up against the remnants of the Empire as well as an army of Dark Jedi (Leftover Reborns). Ultimately, towards the end of the game, you'll have to choose light side or dark side.

The game uses the same graphics and engine as Jedi Outcast, which was great for that game, but should have been updated for this one. You can also choose the gender, species, clothes, and lightsaber of your character, but it is awfully limited.

The voice acting is good, however the character of Jaden Korr dosen't sound right when you play as another species and they speak in a human voice. The missions you undertake can become repetitive and extremly boring until the end, which has better missions and allows you to finally change your lightsaber style.

Overall, Jedi Academy is a good game that has some flaws, but can good in the end. One thing that i would like to state is that the Dark Side ending is probably the best out of the two endings and leaves the game open for a sequel or expansion.
