Nothing Spectacular

Pros

When I first picked this game up and played it I was astonished by the graphics. It was crisp clean and dynamic for the most part. The developers defiantly put a lot of time into making the game look beautiful. Plus the sound, the glorious sound. Nothing brings back the warm feeling of nostalgia quite like the sound of star wars lasers, Wilhelm screams, and the sounds of rebels and storm troopers dying. This in conjunction with the amazing graphics gives you one hell of an experience. The card system is also a nice touch, it allows you to pick from 3 different cards, that act as abilities, 2 of which recharge overtime and allow you to use them over and over without having to die or look for an ammo crate. The other card is a modification such as a shield or explosive shots that you can replenish by buying them or picking them up (its nice that they give you the free option of picking them up). There are a wide variety of blasters to choose from, some iconic, some lesser known, and an absolute shit ton of chracter customization and taunts.

Cons

The community is pretty small and it makes finding a game mode you want to play almost impossible. The map design is disgusting for walker assault. They are more linear than an old school Sonic game, making game play really boring after about an hour. The maps that aren't linear happen to be super choke point oriented, making it hard to push up to the next objective when rebels are spamming grenades down a corridor. The level progression is scary bad. You unlock everything important by the time you hit level 50, which doesn't take long. Almost everything is DLC so if you want to have luck finding a game you are going to have to drop some serious dough.

Overall

The game is fun for about an hour, it isn't something you are going to be addicted to and is more of an in between game. You just play it when you get bored of some other game then switch back. It's okay for what it is but it's defiantly not worth the retail price due to the fact that it gets stale pretty quick. I suggest buying it on sale, used, or on some site that sells it at a discount.
