Great game for the Spiderman lovers, not so great for the people who are just seeing what Spidey has to offer.

Spiderman: The movie was a great first attempt, it provides you with most of the stuff that Peter Parker did in the movie, off course this game is based on the movie just like Spiderman 2, you fly high doing crazy stunts and tricks while in the air, raging through buildings at enormous speeds, finding and landing neat combos its all there. The single-player is really great i enjoyed battling through the missions, although some of them were hard, some missions include, chasing people, killing objects in mid-air, manoeuvring throught levels by stealth or by "Mr doesn't give a **** on how much noise he makes". The single player is long but, it also has some things that want you to play more, for instants each level you may unlock a new combo if you search hard enough, at the end of the level you get points so once you have a certain amount of points you may unlock extras like mini-games, art, costumes. Each mission is a good enough length, what i mean is that no mission takes forever to complete, they are evenly timed so that each one doesn't take a hole generation to complete. Besides the single player, there is challenge mode were you try and do levels on a hard difficulty, you can only do challenge mode on the levels that you have already unlocked. Then there is the training area, and i must say there are a huge amount of different training activities you may selecting, this training section is especially for the beginners or who want to improve or excel in certain areas of the game. There is also Bruce Campbell, who suprised me with a lot of really funny comments. To the cons, well there are parts of the game which really stick into my head and make me feel like 'WTF?'. To the most major one, i'm sure you guys know that when Spiderman is swinging he uses objects that are higher then him for support, well i'm afraid Spiderman doesn't offer that, he still grabs something higher but not an object, he grabs the sky.....yes my friend he grabs the sky, so its kinda weird seeing spiderman swinging and using the sky to help swing, what would he use the clouds....i don't know, maybe i'm making a big fuss out of nothing but this really annoyed me. Another thing, well they should of tried to improve the replay ability, after you finish this game there isn't much more you can do with it, except try and unlock the extras which aren't that great and appealing to me, if they were to improve this it would be great. One more bad thing about this game and i'll shut my mouth ok, the voice acting was real bad in this, Peter Parker as Spiderman had dead set the stupidest lines in this game, and some were really irritating. Maybe some liked it, but i didn't anyway this is just from my experience. The graphics were ok, for that time, they weren't impressive but they also weren't rubbish, so they were somewhat better then ok. The sound, well like i mentioned before i hated the voice acting, but the music well that was ok. This game is really not valuable because probably after 1 to 3 months you will stop playing it so not a good game to go out and spend a fortune on. Overall this is a great, game it was a good attempt at making a game based on a movie, and remember most game based on movies are rubbish, well this one isn't the Spiderman series and a few others of the movie based game are at the top of the list. This game not really worth a purchase or a rental, if your looking for a spiderman game go for spiderman 2, its much better then this one.
