Great fighting game, don't go by the Gamespot review score.

User Rating: 8.5 | SoulCalibur V X360
The mediocre review scores this game is receiving is primarily due to a so called lack of single player content. Compared to last years Mortal Kombat, this game is lacking in the area of single player content-however, there is a good deal of single player content-much more than MVC3 which IGN rated fighter of the year for last year. There is an arcade mode, quick battle mode, and last but not least, a legendary mode for the most gifted of players. Thus, if you are primarily interested in single player story content and deciding between this game and MK from last year, I guess I would choose MK.

The combat system in this game is fantastic and incredibly fun. You really cannot go off of vidoes of the game in action as the game looks and feels much better when you are actually playing it. The online mode is pretty much perfect with a fantastic spectator mode. There are also tons of unlockables and customization options for your characters.

I pretty much could have cared less about this game until a friend of mine, who is really in to fighting games asked me to get it, and I have to admit that its damn good. This game will also be featured at the EVO competitions this year and rightly so-don't go by the reviews-heck, even if you are mostly in to single player, the game still has a lot to offer-call me surprised-great game!
