The Legend will never die!
the story takes place in the 14th century,where 8 fighters from around the world are in the search for the ultimate weapon,the soul blade.a sword with unimaginable powers.2 fighters are from europe,1 from america,1 from south koreea & 4 from japan!voldo & cervantes complete the list,but since they are bad guys,they don't count.actually,cervantes stoled the soul blade from rocks father,with was a sailor.he was on his ship along with his young son,rock & the spaniard cervantes stoled it.at the final battles you will confront voldo,a guy with a very interesting story,from italy & cervantes himself to take from him the soul blade.
this game looks like dynasty warriors but it's far more better.here,you can fight with both weapons & body...& soul!all 3!the most annoying part is that the battles are short.the battles take place on rings,similar with the ones from box.you can easily knock out the enemy from the stage,from the ring even if you can adjust it's size.in rest,everything is perfect.the graphics are impressive.the music is fantastic,medieval style.the best music track is from the edge master mode called"An Oath of the Sword".here,at the edge master mode,you can read the soty of each character from theyr books.you also fight others & if you defeat them you can steal their weapon & put it in your inventory.the game has 7 modes:arcade,practice,vs mode,survival,time attack,team battle & the edge master.it's a rich,a complete fighting game.too bad it's too easy.i think the best warrior,the most representative is taki from japan.a ninja like woman like ryu hayabusa from ninja gaiden.
the game is still outstanding nowadays,this is the most interesting part-it stood the test of time proving that "the legend will never die".
