My 36th review after the flat-out, worst Sega game of all time, Barney's Hide and Seek.
Ahhh, the classics, one of the best characters throughout history along with Mario. Nintendo's mascot, Mario began life back in the 1985, but then, in 1991, Sega's mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog began life. This along with Super Mario Bros. are one of the greatest 2D side-scrolling classics ever made. This game is gonna get an A++!! Here are the results:
Game-play 10/10: With great sense of speed, that's what makes this game one of the funnest 2D side-scrolling games ever made because it's a wild ride!!
Graphics 10/10: Nice and cute graphics, definitely way better than Barney's Hide and Seek's babyish graphics.
Controls 10/10: Just amazing!!
Sound/Music 10/10: Just PERFECT!!!!! One of the best musics throughout video game history, that includes Green Hill Zone.
Lasting Appeal 10/10: One of the greatest classics along with Super Mario Bros., which Sonic's franchise began life.
Overall, Sonic the Hedgehog is a classic side-scrolling platformer!
The Good:
-Fun side-scrolling platforming action full of great sense of speed
-Cute graphics
-Wonderful, amazing music
The Bad:
-The game may be kinda short
-Later levels get more challenging
