Blue, spinning, deathtrap. I won't go into details about a story for this furry hedgehog because there is really no story that was painted into the game in the first place. Sure, kill, or hurt or whatever, an evil scientist, or doctor... whatever he is, and free all the little furry animals so they can do their thing. You know, I really don't understand why Sonic can talk, and a frog, for example, can't. It's very confusing, and really, this download is kinda nice, for five bucks.

Sonic the Hedgehog returns once more into another epic adventure... well kinda. This is first remember, so he has to achieve by jumping... or spinning. That is it... another Sega production that will make billions off from blue hedgehog fans. I hope they make billions because this is actually worth the price of the game, five bucks. Most games like Catan, or Contra costs ten dollars and is way too expensive for those kind of games, while Sonic the Hedgehog got it made with a fair and rare deal. But lets see if the game is actually worth your while.

Graphics, what can I say, is really superb for an Xbox 360 arcarde game. It has it own mind and feel to it, like you are actually on an island that has checkerd shape dirt hills with grass at the top. Your character, Sonic, will rush through levels with no pixels or any of that sort jumping and lagging. You will feel like you are with the wind, well in a way in that kinda sort. Really not much to say but just being a 32 bit game. The sound and music are just wonderful... but no great. It sounds like you are playing a Sega Genisis game, and it plays like it, so why not give it a good effort to say that this is good at this part, right? Sounds like squeeking while you die, or the sound of turning into your ball of spinning hell. Sounds fun, which is why the sound is fun. Music is kinda annoying because none of it is great. In retrospect, it is kind of annoying.

The gameplay is the best part. Rather than being Mario and having to actually jump on things to kill them, why not turn into a spiky ball in air and kill them anywhere. A new, and maybe why the game was so great. You could attack your opponent as long as you were not shot by fire, spiked, or smushed. Also, it made a simulator of turning to a ball and letting yourself roll across the level was a classic. Mainly, Sonic Games today cannot create that kind of view because it worked so well only in 2D games era. The one part that is not fair is the Saving. You can save whenever you want, and you can pick up where you left off. Sure, sounds convienvent, but it starts where you where at... exactly where you were. The life system is broken since you can just load your game and just play it where you were at.

At the end, Sonic the Hedgehog is a worth five dollars. Sonic the Hedgehog will let the old school feel flow back into your Xbox 360, and will only cost half the price. The only thing that is disapointing is the memorization of the levels, and the short story that will only last about three days if played consectively. Fun, to the point.
