I just picked up this game the other day and since then i cant put it down. It is vastly different then the older socom games, yet is still just as good...that is if you have a head on your shoulders and want to actually command somehting. It took me a little while to get used to the controls but once i did i really started to enjoy it. i havnt finished it yet and am barley half way through it but cant wait to finish it...however the re playability factor is huge! Not only can you play the missions over again, but you can play it from different insertion points and as a truck load of different special forces teams from around the globe, from american of course to SAS, German, Korean...and a bunch more. Like i said this is a hot one if you like shooters. One negative thing about it, and really the only thing i have found so far is occasionally the camera angles can be a pain but if your deep into a game you hardly notice it at all. I havent gotten to look at multi-player on-line yet only cause i wanted to play the actual missions before i messed with that, but from what i hear it is equally great , so i cant wait! Tactical Strike should be on everyones christmas list this year as it is definitly worth it, and jsut an overall great game.
