Very pleasing gameplay, despite some krinks in the graphics and story.

Tactical Strike is a superb extension to the SOCOM family. Overall, the new "strategic command" gameplay is fitting for SOCOM. I mean, it's a fresh addition to the old FPS shoot-em-up style, but it does have flaws. The "skimmer" reticule, a square box, is the aiming system. You select the area you want to move to, or the enemy you want to attack, and press X. There are also a few different commands that enable you to time the attack just right. But, the camera is hard to negotiate with occasionally, because there might be an area blocked off by an obstacle, and you have to go all the way around it. And the storyline is very short (there's 11 missions) as well. For those of you who have played RTS games somewhat like "Full Spectrum Hammer", this one's for you.
