This isn't Brain Age Academy but you have to use your noggin just as much when playing this game or get it shot off.

I have had a rash of good luck when it comes to purchasing video games or is it that developers & publishers wait to release all of the good titles right around the holiday season. This one doesn't let down either. It basically went "right" where Fireteam Bravo went "wrong"... or shall I say it was an upgrade of Fireteam Bravo. They've incorporated an equipment "Load Out" into this game, added a hint of unlockables you can use to customize your squad much like it's big brother from the PS2 iterations. & added a dash of RPG leveling.

I haven't had an opportunity to play a lot of military shooters for the PSP except for the SOCOM series unles you count the stealth games... but I can say this one would be just as good on a console as it is on ethe PSP. I'd have to rate this game a 10 had it not been for the movement reticule & camera & how it some times would piss me off when I couldn't move to a certain spot or see a certain area. All in all... a good title to give to your ex/retired army dad or family member.
