A very different game to the rest of the SOCOM series, but it actualy works.

SOCOM Tactical Strike is very different to the rest of the SOCOM series. Let me tell you why. First of all, you dont play as one Navy Seal, but all 4 Navy Seals in the team. This is good and bad because if someone dies you can get another team mate to revive them. However it causes confusion between who you are and makes this game more of a strategy game than a 3rd person shooter like the rest of the games.
You play as Wraith, Bronco, Kahuna and Aztec but before you start your campaign you can chose to be different special forces units like the Australian SAS or German special forces, each with their own accents and languages. You gather Command Equitidy points just like in SOCOM U.S Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2 and use it to unlock new weopons. You also can use other skill points that your team earns during missions for more skills like how fast they are at reloding and sniping. The multiplayer works well but is not as good as the Fireteam Bravo series multiplyer. The game has good graphics and delivers 9 long missions that take quite a long time to complete and after the campaign there are plenty more instant action missions to complete afterwards. Overall the game is good but Slant 6's first SOCOM game was not what I expected and I hope Slant 6 doesn't make another SOCOM game like this again. SOCOM shouldn't be like this but sometimes you just have to accept some changes.
