Very unique take on the ending days of WWII, I hope they decide to make a sequal.
The game takes place in 1945, nearing the end of WWII and the beginning of the Cold War, where you play as an American Sniper disguised as a German Sniper to keep the Russians from finding important german research pertaining to a nuclear weapon.. From the beginning you have to be quite cautious and sneaky, this is not your average run and gun one man army shooters. In this, if you are hit in a vital area of the body, you can bleed out and subsequently die if the wound is not treated post haste. I also liked how if you hit the enemy in, lets say the leg, he will actually be affected by this and start to limp, also you can incapacitate an enemy and use him as bait. I thought this was quite interesting and it reminded me a lot about the movie Enemy at the Gates. Anyway, this game is definitely not for twitch shooters or those who have short attention spans, to you this game may seem boring and drab.
The only problems I had with this game is that sometimes the enemy AI can get a bit too "god like" meaning that a regular foot soldier will call yout your exact location to his comrades from across the level whereas you can just barely see him with your sniper scope zoomed all the way in. Also sometimes the game does have visual "ripping" when things begin to heat up. Also the sound quality is not the greatest in the world, but it is fairly decent.
I forgot to mention the multiplayer aspect of the game, it does have co-op, which is definitely a plus in my eyes, it does have a number of different adversarial gametypes as well. I also like how you can micro manage everything when creating a server. I hope they do make a sequal to this game, or at least re-release it with updated graphics and sound on the next gen consoles.
