Great Buy..Worth the Points Indeed

This game is definitely worth the 800 points price tag it sports (roughly $8.33). Many have compared this game to Super Smash Bros and it’s similar in the respect that it’s a side scrolling multiplayer brawler, or should I say shooter instead. The game sports 12 unique characters which each have their own very different long range weapons and attacks. This is a shooter more so than a brawler which I should mention also. As for fighting up close, you have a standard melee attack which is performed by pressing "x" or “b”. This attack can be used in a regular 3 hit combo, a downward slide attack, and a mid air jump kick from what I know so far. Other than that you will more than likely taking on your opponent from afar with your standard gun and its primary and secondary fire modes. The sound and graphics are great considering the game is only 800 points (same amount as many other bogus arcade titles). Each characters weapon is well done and the explosions are great. As for getting around the stages, jumping around differs per character and some of them take more time to get used to than others. Single player has a mission mode (similar to Smash Bros. single player), challenge mode (aka survival), and target practice which is basically a simple mini game. Online mode is where the fun is at as you could probably already imagine.

All in all, I think anyone who downloads Xbox live arcade games will be pleased with this title due to its great value, fun multiplayer, and original remix of side shooter action. Don’t pass this up if you’re a fan of downloadable arcade games.
