I do not like Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. It did not live up to any of my expectations. First of all, we were promised a Spyro game. This is not a Spyro game at all. This is a completely different game that took a purple demon and slapped Spyro's name on it just for a sales boost. It has nothing to do with Spyro at all. The this game is really bad. What a horrible story with a flamboyant name. There are weird and unoriginal characters in the game. Very weird and unoriginal...and in an embarrassing way. Trigger Happy? Gill Grunt? I laughed so hard at the corniness until I wet myself. Kaos? What happned to Ripto and Gnasty Gnorc? The voice acting is awful to say the least. I simply didn't see the point in playing the game. The setting is in Skylands. What about the Dragon Realms, Avalar, and The Forgotten Realms? What ever happened to the awesome unique characters like in the Spyro games from PlayStation? All the dragons in the Dragon Realms, Sparx the Dragonfly, Hunter the Cheetah, Zoe the Fairy, Elora the faun, Proffessor, Mr. Moneybags, Bianca, Sheila the Kangaroo, Sgt. James Byrd, Bentley the Yeti, & Agent 9? What happened to Spyro collecting gems and traveling through portals into different worlds!... We haven't seen Spyro collect gems or fly through magic portals in ages. Those were classic! What about those fun levels that we remember from Spyro the Dragon? Ripto's Rage? Year of the Dragon? Activision, when will you bring us a legit Spyro game with the classic fun characters and worlds instead of all these abstract alternate realities with weird characters and mindless plots? And how about having a remastered collection of the original PS1 Spyro trilogy as everyone has been long asking? In fact, why are you denying fans what they have been clamoring for a good deal of time? No more of this abstract nonsense; good old fashioned powerups; classic characters and classic worlds. Activision took everything that was classic from Spyro (including Spyro himself) in Skylanders which is a reason why it shouldn't get a good rating. No more of these lousy reboots and no more using Spyro's name as a cash grab, we want the actual Spyro the Dragon that we all grew up with! This game is all razzle and no dazzle.
