It took me a few rounds, but now I'm hooked!

Chalk it up to misplaced expectations; but the first time I played the game, I was disappointed. Didn't seem very immersive or compelling. No real story line to follow, no real missions/goals, nothing compelling you to conquer anything, really. So after the first hour of the tutorials, and about 30 minutes into my first game, I got bored and uninstalled it. Then about a week or two ago, I thought I'd give it another shot. This time I took the game on it's own merits and came into it knowing what to expect - and now, I'm hooked! The game is pretty awesome! The trick is to at least allow yourself to complete one whole game and to see the type of ships you can create and the type of carnage you can ensue! I've had several very epic battles, and they were pretty exciting! In the end, if you win, you feel a sense of accomplishment, even though you've accomplished nothing in real life! Ahhhh, the mark of a truly excellent computer game! ;o)
