A good party game for the money.
Having said that, if you do not have extra money to spend on buying new songs, I would not suggest this game. When people come over and ask to pay Sing Star, I want to crawl in a corner and cry. If I have to sing "Beverly Hills" or "Love Song" one more time, I may seriously be sent to a mental hospital. I only play this game when people come over, and at this point I've played it so much I have absolutely no desire to take part in the game anymore. The songs become extremely repetitive, and I guarantee if you like a song that is on there when you first get the game, after about two months the thought of that song will make you want to scream.
If you aren't going to spend the money at the PlayStation store on more songs, I would just suggest getting more than one version of the game. The first two are only $12 each, which makes them well worth it as a party game.
