I have played all 4 releases of sim city. With the exception of sim city 4 they were all great . Each one building on the one before . Taking advantage of faster more powerful computers and computer graphics as the became avalable on personal computers. In this way each new game release enabled sim city to evolve... But then they unloaded sim city 4 on us. I am not a game programer , however it appears they just stoped work on sim city 4 in favor of their new brain child, ( the Sims.)To the folks at EA Games it is My hope that someone from the company reads this because maney of the people who have played sim city from the start, are gamers that get to plug up their game for a couple hours on weekends. We enjoy the massive city with a population of a million plus. Having the ability define and fine tune our city after we have established it. You have some of the tools , such as massive highways, bridges, Airports,seaports railway/subway and monorail systems. But the city land grid is broken into areas to small to make a large city. In the past the great thing about Sim City ,Was you had a mental picture of your city because you spent month's building it, so you didn't need to be setting in front of your computer to work on it ... I guess all good things come to an end! :-(
