It may not be good as Silent Hill 2, But Silent Hill 3 will freak you out a little bit.
At the beginning of the game you'll be at an Abandoned Theme Park but it turns out that it was a dream and Heather wakes up in a shopping mall and finds out there's alot of strange things going on.
Gameplay: If you've played through the series before you should no problem with gameplay controls. But for those who never played through the series it's all in 3rd person like Resident Evil series on PS1 you'll be able to use weapons to fight scary looking monsters. You can use a pipe, a gun, shotgun or even an axe if you find one anywhere.
Silent Hill series will focuses some puzzles and riddles which you'll have to do in order to get to the next part of the game. Most places in Silent Hill 3 you may reconsise later on in the game if you've played through the first two games in the series.
Graphics and Sound: The graphics may look creepy and freak but it's a really survuial horror game for the Playstation 2. But some graphics and areas will look the same from Silent Hill 2 thats if you have played it.
If your one of those people who doesn't like Horror games you might want to avoid this game because it will have alot scary and freaky stuff where blood comes out of no where, enemies lurking from the middle of no where and also creepy sounds.
Anothor good thing about Silent Hill 3 is the music and soundtrack making you want to grip the controller specially when monsters start attacking you and trying to freak you out which is funny.
Overall: Fans of the series will find it worth playing but you might be disapointed that it'll be good as Silent Hill 2 was, Pyramiad Headman does appear in Silent Hill 3 which great for fans and most people would say there the best scary looking enemies since Resident Evil 3's Nemesis.
Main game can take you up to a good couple of hours but if your wanting to try and get a good ending or bad ending you've got the option to do so and also there are a few more features that can be unlocked in Silent Hill 3.
