Truly terrifying and completely amazing.

Silent Hill 3 is the epitomy of a survival horror game, and cannot be beaten. The lighting, shadows, effects, and ambient and direct noise make it one of the most terrifying and engrossing game experiences available on a home console to date. And last but not least, the graphics, for when the game was relesed, are absolutley first rate. The game introduces all of its characters and main storyline themes in amazing quality cutscenes which are a joy to watch. The storyline is sure to grasp any survival horror fans, or fans of japanese horror films for that matter. When the game really gets going, some of the scenes can be truly down-right disturbing, especially if you play it in the dark, by yourself, and with head phones or surround sound. But don't worry, its all worth it. Whats a change of underwear compared to an amazing terrifying game experience?
The only true flaw i found with this game is some of its frustrating camera angles that lead you down the wrong path multiple times before discovering how the camera shifts, but its not like you havent dealt with this before in games like Resident Evil.
Bottom line, if you havent played Silent Hill 3, and are a fan of the survival horror genre, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy.
