Civilization fans can enjoy a quick console game with lots of challenge and fun.

As hard as it may seem to think of a Sid Meier Civilization game on a console, this game exceeds expectations by a mile. It is well set up, a nice selection of civilizations to choose from, and game play that is fun and interactive. With a variety of difficulty options, there is a level for any type of player, from beginner to experienced. The world, overall, is on a small scale and games can be completed in just a couple of hours. This is great for quick matches to play, but an option to expand the world and lengthen the game times would be nice.

The technology tree is nicely done with plenty of options to choose from, although there are a few technologies that, when discovered, can catapult you to a domination victory with ease. This could be balanced better, but overall, it is still a good challenge, especially trying to win in another manner.

The online play, although I haven't played it a lot, has been fun and enjoyable when I have played. The ability to play a match online with friends is a very nice touch and the ranked matches leaves unending hours of game play for all.

It is a game well worth picking up for anyone who enjoys the Civilization line of games.
