Finally, a turn based strategy game for the 360 that doesn't put you to sleep

A great variation of the PC platform series. The Xbox version of Civilization delivers the first turn based strategy game worth playing on the platform. A simplified city management system keeps you engaged, without needing applied calculus to figure out the best use of resources. A colorful cast of advisers and adversaries creates a real personal connection to a genre that can often come off as cold and distant. The combat is simple, but engaging. The general rule is, whomever has the better tech wins the fight.
My favorite part of this version of the game is the pace. Once you figure out the basics, you can dominate the world in 3 hours our less. This creates a great re-play value to the game. Each culture grants unique bonuses, and you'll want to keep playing until you've mastered them all.
You have to have this game in your collection. Pick up a used copy and you'll really get a lot of game for your buck.
