shadows of the damned is practically dead space with quicker controls and persistant puzzles involving your secondary fire.its extremely gory and a little disturbing.its all such overkill you cant take it seriously.
the visual design is haunting. stylish,and unique but it looses its impact after the dick and fart jokes kick in.the game play is incredible ,the shooting mechanics feel execellent.the upgradeable weapons,darkness puzzles and the overall creepy bad guys make for some intense super gory action.but unfortunetly there is no plot to back things up.
leveling up the amazing weapons is what you will be spending your time doing. so do it wisely beacuse there is no new game plus wich is dispicable and the biggest disapointment of the game.
other then that Shadows of the damed is an extremely liner game with little to no exploration the game feels narrow and cramped but controls are tight and smooth.the boss battles are epic and most of the time also a puzzle that pisses you off the perfect amount.the demons have execellent sureal designs and the the game often comes off as not scary but very disturbing and a little off puting.
I over all loved it.it was f**kin brutal.it left me pissed and wanting more.it should have been a 9 but its junk got cut off.so its a 7.5 .cant wait for a sequel. suda 51 should take its self a little more seriously some times. next time let me level up all the guns.
