I have to say, I love flight sims and I'm a big WWII buff. So for me, this was an easy sell. I found this game completely entertaining as well as challenging. The story mode is incredibly well done. While not very believable (I don't know of any Eagle Squadron pilots who also flew in the South Pacific), it's still well done. The journal entries by your character gives you a sense of knowing him and making it more fun to work with the other characters as well. The gameplays is relatively easy to handle and doesn't take too long to get used to. The overall physics are done pretty well and the graphics and sound are very nice. The variety of missions is great too. And I said, not too realistic that you would fly missions in a bomber over Germany, fly fighter escort over the English Channel, attach Japanese carriers in the South Pacific and take on German tanks on the Russian front, but, it keeps it fresh anyway. The two-player mode is also a lot of fun. So, once you complete the missions and all the bonuses (which can take a while), there's still some life to the game to play with a buddy. Overall, it's just a fun game, especially if you like to fly and enjoy War sims.
