Second verse, same as the first.

If you liked Sacred, you'll probably like Sacred 2. It's basically the exact same game, only more annoying. It's still easy to describe, it's a Diablo 2 with cheap production values. That's not to say it's a horrible game, it's just not good.

The graphics are still wonky and amazingly demanding for what they are (I have a very powerful PC, and still had a lot of skips and hesitations when zoomed out). An isometric view game shouldn't have problems with graphics memory, it shouldn't be that demanding, but it is. I can't help but think they are very poorly optimized. They aren't bad looking, but aren't really great, certainly nothing to base a purchase on.

The audio is just awful, the worst part of the game. The English translations are ok I guess, but the corny humor and repeated comments will grate very quickly, and the voice acting is very bad. There's no excuse for voice acting this bad today. It's almost as though they picked random people from a US street to record the translated dialog. Of course, the actual dialog was trite and even a seasoned professional wouldn't be able to do much with it.

Gameplay... well, if you've played Diablo, Titan's Quest or the first Sacred, the gameplay is exactly the same. Exactly. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's almost the same game.

Only much worse.
