When i bought my xbox one i passed on getting ryse because of the bad reviews but me being me i decided to give it a try and i was not disappointed. a lot of people give it low scores because of the combat system and the length of the game. I can understand the complaint about the length because I myself wish that the campaign was a little bit longer but i was satisfied with what i got because i work a lot and have other things going on and I don't get to put in the hours that i used to. The combat system to me was more of a open ended realistic tactical system instead of an arcade like system in games like god of war ninja gaiden and games of that sort with a huge combo list in this game you have to time you strikes and blocks and you can string together multi hit combos and executions you can be creative and make up your own combos. the other complaint that i heard was that the game was tedious and repetitve but as are all games its do this do that go here go there kill 150 enemies and so on. all i can say is that i really enjoyed this game and i hope that people will not be a follower and give it a chance for themselves you'll enjoy it and the only reason that i gave the game an 8 is because of the length of the main campaign it could have been a little bit longer but like i said before i enjoyed what i got. i've uploaded some of my game play vis for this game in upload my gt is ryuojiyamazaki so check them out if you can and check out the game
