The first Rock Band on Wii was a big dissapointment; It didn't have online mode, no download features, some sound problems and graphics were jus pre-rendered videos instead of watching your band playing live; but now those problems are gone and it's also a complete music game now.

It has the same modes from the last game but now with more features included. In Tour Mode you have the same creation features as the 360/PS3 versions, you have lots of different types of costume for your characters, and there is a lot to do like playing in different locations like Paris or London, Battle of the Bands and some challenges. Now the game is also compatible with Guitar Hero instruments that was a problem before with the first Rock Band.

Gameplay is the same as always, but now is easier for begginers to get used to the game mechanics; there is a no-fail mode and also a drum trainer.During tour mode now you have the option to add different members to your band and also you can play this mode online; you can hire promoters or managers during the tour and play some score challenges in some songs or gigs to gain more fans or extra money.

There are more than 80 songs on the disc with the ability to download a lot more. There is a great of variety in the songs; grunge bands like Nirvana or Pearl Jam; metal bands like Metallica or Megadeth, alternative rock like Red Hot Chilli Peppers or Smashing Pumpkins; old great bands like The Who or Bad Company and new bands like Paramore. But there are some songs like for example Tangled Up in Blue of Bob Dylan that are too long to be enjoyable and some songs that aren't just that fun to play. In the end it is a great set list and also if you don't like it too much you can download any song from the 1000 or more available.

Maybe for some users is the same experience as always but Rock Band 2 on Wii is a big improvement over it's predecessor and also one of the greatest music games ever made for a Nintendo Console.
