I have never been more proud of an on-going, in danger of being too long for it's own good series like I have for Resident Evil. There have been sooooooo many Resident Evil games, and games of the like, that I was sick of the series. It was redundant, the gameplay was dry, all the weapons were too sparse to be effective, and it took boxes of bullets just to deal with one Zombie. What with the Zombies being no push over in RE4, and the lack of variety for ammunition found in random parts of the level; making for very strategic and conservative bullet dispersal kept the difficulty of the game challenging enough to not get boring, with extras for a reward when you get done with the initial game, keeping you coming again and again. The hype surrounding was most definitely all it's cracked up to be, for anyone who is a fan of the series, to those of you who were like me and hated Resident Evil, you need this game. I never would have guessed that I would ever own a Resident evil game.
However...if I must quibble... You can't be in motion while shooting, ya have to stand still. I know that sounds like a little weak as far as gripes go. But in every other shooter almost ever, you can shoot in motion. You're in a zombie survivor horror game, and you can't run and shoot at the same time??!!?? Really??
