this fun, charming, often hilarious and beautiful game is brilliant, (even without HD visuals)

good points
- It's a really challenging without being frustrating, thanks to numerous checkpoints and infinite lives. I have never really got into a game as much as I have this one, without getting fustrated.
- the music is just AMAZING!!!
- the art style is fantastic
- the controls are tight and very easy to understand, and I never felt myself cursing because the controls didn't work right for me.
- it's rayman (duh!)
- rayman's gone back to his roots
- it's fast and the animations are beautifully smooth
- there's just enough extra unlockable content to make you feel a purpose for collecting the hidden goodies
- it is very funny
BAD POINTS
- i just really hope they won't go mad and release this game on every console under the sun ala rayman 2,
- ubisoft are lazy when it comes to new games with rayman in, and they don't like to take risks (Hence rayman 2 n64, rayman 3d, rayman ds, rayman 2 on ps2, rayman... oh you get the point.) so you might have to get used to seeing this game a lot more for years to come.
