A poor remake of an amazing game.
It is a horrible remake of a game I consider to be one of the greatest games of all time, I couldn't believe how bad it was, I hated it. Rayman is easily one of my favourite gaming characters but recently his franchise has been getting very bad with other games that I wont mention, but they are in the form of a party game with creepy little demon bunnies.
STORY: The story of the game is that an evil crew of pirates have come to Raymans world and are taking over it, Rayman is captured and all hope is lost, until a friend of Raymans called GLOBOX gets captured and gives Rayman his strength back (with a Silver Lum). Rayman decides to go and free Le The Fairy so he can get his powers back and destroy the pirates.
I won't tell you anymore of the story as it is FAR too good to ruin in this review.
GRAPHICS: AND this is the point where the game gets bad, the graphics are horrible and I really mean HORRIBLE. The animations are all weird and the game can make you sick, it's not a joke I had to stay off school for a week because I got seriously ill thanks to playing this game. And I don't care if it was one of the first DS games, I don't want to get sick when playing a video game. The backgrounds are just as bad they are bland and blocky.
MUSIC: The music of the game is great however but only because it is a port of the original which has one of my favourite music in a video game.
GAMEPLAY: The gameplay is just not the same on a handheld device, it's very difficult to play as the D-Pad just isn't suited for a 3D video game, and the touch screen doesn't do anything at all.
OVERALL: It is easily the worst Rayman game in existence, and I highly recommend to all gamers to skip it, it isn't worth your time and money.
