This game is the third edition to the Ratchet and Clank series and is basically the first two games fixed to produce a classic.
In this game you will search and destroy Dr Nefarious, an evil mastermind plotting to destroy the galaxy. He is one of the most significant and humorous characters in the whole Ratchet and Clank series. The storyline in this game improves to the other games a great deal, part of this is the fact that all your favourite characters unite in order to save the universe (Skid McMarx, Big Al, Qwark etc). This makes the game much more lively and purposeful it also makes the game a lot more epic.
This game improves to the first two games in many ways. The health system has finally been perfected, instead of having meaningless spheres taking up your screen they have finally decided to introduce the health bar. You will also be able to do certain missions or tasks in order to collect bolts, this is a great addition to the game and gives you a great sense of achievement. Once again the weapons can be upgraded which is something which Insomniac have decided to stick with, which is great. You will also have people fighting along side you throughout the game, they are known as the "Galactic Rangers" They are pretty cool and will really help you in order to complete the game.
The biggest addition to this game was the capability to play multiplayer online. This is an amazing feature and this is the main reason why this game top's the rest, including some of the newer games.
Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal is the first two game's combined to perfection. This game is a must buy for any Ratchet and Clank fan, and will please not just Ratchet fanatics but also people that have never heard of the game.
