A Fun Non-linear, Hysterically Funny, Maybe too Easy of a Game.

User Rating: 8.5 | Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction PS3
Ratchet and Clank are back, but not on the Ps2, but on the PS3.
Let me start out with saying that the graphics are amazing. They has a "Pixar" twist to them. They are colorful and vibrant. The story was good but not great. The gameplay is a load of fun.

Now lets continue with the graphics, like I said they are amazing. Every planet has a unique, colorful, and fun look to them. My favorite world would have to be the dinosaur one. It was so unique and intimidating. Ratchet and Clank look great in every cutscene and gameplay they were in. Now lets move on to the story, it was good. But with the graphics and concept they had, I wish the story could've been much better. You start out as Ratchet and he is trying to escape from this Cragmite named Tachyon ( a name that I can't even believe that I remembered) and he wants to rid the world of Lombaxes (and of course Ratchet is the last living Lombax). So Tachyon and Ratchet are searching for the weapon that can revive all of the Cragmites! (Ratchet of course wants to destroy it!) Clank keeps getting these weird visions about Toy Story alien-like creatures called the Zoni.
The thing I didn't like about the story is that it's not very intriguing, like your involved but you don't really get to know your characters, and its a little to fast paste.

Lets go to the amazing and fun gameplay. Let me just say that the gadgets are CRAZY! It goes from a twister like gun to a fireblazing torch, to a Mr. Zorkon? Yes I said Mr. Zorkon, he is the best gadget you can get. But I would have to say my favorite gadget is the Shock Ravager (to be honest I love them all). They all have a very unique taste to them. The name Tools of Destruction does really fit this game. Its a literal destruction! The gold bolts and skill points are fun, its something you can do if you don't want to play the story at that time. The big downfall to this game is that its waaay to easy. You get all these crazy weapons when one shot kills an enemy without them being upgraded. Yeah the arena does have fun obstacles and what not, but its all too easy. The bosses are also kinda frustrating. The jumping doesn't respond sometimes. But every time I bring out the Alpha Disrupter, a smile crosses my face.

Now lets talk about the Soundtrack/Noise. The music is great but a little to bubbly, if you know what I mean. The voice acting is awesome, and there are funny scenes. This game is a great and fun platformer with all of the gadgets you wish.
