Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time, one of the best Ratchet & Clank games since Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal. This begins after the ending of Quest For Booty and only ends the Future saga, not the entire series. This is the third Ratchet game on the PS3, and is the second with Ratchet's new wrench and picking up abilities. He can't pick up creatures to light the way in this game, instead he picks up battery bots, plant seeds, and some secret items you might find later. All the armor you buy in this game look basically the same except for the color and small things you can notice the difference of. There are a lot of things you may want to discover in A Crack In Time, unlike previous R&C titles you never have to watch Ratchet fly in space, you can always fly yourself! You can do jobs for the locals, discover and land on moons, and go to different sectors in the galaxy. In this game, you have to collect the Zoni, which are small creatures that travel through time. Collecting these creatures will upgrade your ship whenever you get a certain amount of Zoni. You can't crouch anymore, you can use the ready-wrench feature instead. Some people may miss crouching in the previous games, but Insomniac said they realized that Ratchet's personality doesn't include crouching and hiding from gunfire. This info was from the Insomniac Museum in this game, I'm not going to tell you how you unlock it, find out for yourselves! I am not going to spoil it. The Good You are able to change the color of your constructo weapons, Ratchet's detail is perfect, the environments are well-done, the story is very epic, backwards compatible for extras from previous PS3 Ratchet & Clank games, you can share your progress online, challenge mode, new hoverboots, the wrench abilities are great
The Bad The crouching is taken away, no multiplayer, the space combat is in 2D, Talwyn isn't in this game
