R tpye final is absolutely horrible! Yes - there are 100 ships you can unlock, but only a handful of them are actually useable (i.e. - have weapons that don't suck) as for game play - WHERE IS IT? Very few enemies - boring background graphics - and sadly laid-out stages results in r type final being a TOTAL FLOP! The old-skool games 1941, 1942, 1943, etc are way better then this piece of crap! unless you are a total masochist, and enjoy being bored out of your mind and wasting money on games that could have been used to buy something good - i would NEVER recommend this game!! Please keep in mind that I LOVE SHMUPS!!!!! But r type final is no longer on my list of evry shmup available for the ps2! I HATE THIS GAME!!!!!
