There are five difficulty levels which all earn you medals. Novice will earn you a silver medal, easy will earn you a bronze medal, medium will earn you a silver medal, hard will earn you a gold medal and on expert difficulty you will earn a platinum medal. Each difficulty will also give you different amount of Kudos. To buy new cars you have to use your kudos you have earnt from previous events. On the street, there are four views to choose from, including a default behind-the-car view, a closer version of that view, a first-person view from the driver's perspective, and a first-person view that's inches above the pavement.
Project gotham racing 2 has heaps of tracks from lots of cities including Stockholm, Moscow, Hong Kong, Barcelona, Sydney, and Yokohama, San Francisco, London, Tokyo, Washington DC and New York. Races can take place during the day or night during rain or shine.
Project Gotham Racing 2 has over one hundred cars from lots of different retailers including Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, Ford, Honda, Jaguar and heaps more. Before you start the game you make your very own personalised number plate including what city your from and what you want your number plate to say. As far as customisation goes, about the only thing you can do to your car is change the colour of it.
Project gotham racing has more than 240 different songs. PGR 2 lets you make a custom soundtrack if you wish. The sound effects of project gotham racing 2 are very good, when you can hear the roaring engine of the car it just makes you want to win the race even more.
Project racing 2 is an extraordinary racing game that has heaps of features that most racing games can not compare with.
