[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] microsoft offered nintendo some money (one hell lot of money that probably saved nintendo's life until the wii came out)

Nintendo was never in trouble when it comes money. All their consoles made profit, and they had the all might Gameboy (and eventual DS) brand to live on even if they didn't turn profits on the consoles.

Definitely Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire. That game has great potential. It starts off slow but as you progress and get more upgrades and such, the game really opens up. Its an good game and deserves a more refinedsequel.

That game is HARD, and the graphics are first gen PS2 quality. The controls are nearly the same as Soul Calibur Legends, and the controls suck. This game was properly rated. I just couldn't get into this game at all. Opoona is easily the most underrated game on the Wii. More people need to check that game out, especially if you dig quirky RPGs and Sims like Dragon Quest or Animal Crossing...

The Saturn was the first system I owned that generation. I'm pretty sure I had more Saturn games at the height of my collection than my PS1 and N64 combined.

If you save after every successful round, then it eases up the difficulty a bit. I can't imagine Fire Emblem being playable at all without the in game save. It's the hardest Fire Emblem I've played.

Two Worlds has some redeming qualities. Exploring the world map was fun. It has easy achievments... uh... that's all.

It's not a very good game, mostly because of the ugly graphics, bad combat, mass amounts of glitches, and terrible load times. It's a good time waster though, and it's not a very long game. I did most of the sidequests and got nearly all the achievements in 20-25 hours.

umm what???

I called Mass Effect a 'young' series because it was only released in 2007 and I therefore consider it still relatively new... I never said / implied that the developers were new! I've been playing Bioware games since Baldur's Gate thanks.

As to your other point, I guess it depends on how you define a J-RPG an a W-RPG. I personally would never have thought of Super Paper Mario or Dragon Quests Swords as J-RPGs... I always though the label 'J-RPG' was only used to describe more 'traditional' Japanese RPGs (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Legend of Mana, Star Ocean etc), not merely any kind of RPG/RPG-hybrid made in Japan. There are plenty of RPGs made in Japan that aim to be more like traditional Western ones and vice versa.

I could well be mistaken on this though. Anyone?Le9endary

A Western RPG just means an RPG made in American or Europe. A Japanese RPG just means an RPG made in Japan. When you paint JRPGs into a box, and say they can only be exactly like "Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest", then you artifically make the "genre" (it's not one) very limited.

If Mass Effect is young, then what's Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Last Remnant and Infinite Undiscovery? It seems rather pitpicky and sided to point out Mass Effects "youth" then call out all the JRPGs on the 360 as "traditional", don't you think?

In your first run through, you beat Bioshock in 5 hours? I think I might have put 12-14 hours into it, because I wanted to soak it in. I wish it recorded your overall time so you could prove that. Ohwell..
